This policy explains what personal information YVR Technologycollects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

What we collect

• Information you send us.When you use our contact form or call us, we collect what you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, company, company size, the service and city you’re interested in, and details about your needs.
• Website usage information. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, such as pages viewed, referring websites, device and browser type, and approximate location. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this.
• Spam-protection signals.Our contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA, which collects hardware and software information, such as device and application data, to confirm that a person, not a bot, is submitting it. reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

How we use it

• To protect the site and our form from spam and abuse

We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t use your contact details for unrelated marketing without your consent.

Service providers

We use a small number of service providers to run this website: Resend to deliver form submissions by email, Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection, Google Analytics for website statistics, and our website hosting provider. These providers process information on our behalf and may store or process it outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics and reCAPTCHA may set cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works normally without analytics cookies; the contact form needs reCAPTCHA to submit.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and client information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including legal, accounting and tax record-keeping requirements, and then securely delete it.

Access and correction

Under PIPA you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Contact us using the details below and we’ll respond within the time the Act requires.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure.
