Cloud infrastructure and Microsoft 365, done right
Moving email, files or servers to the cloud should make work simpler and more secure — not more expensive or chaotic. We plan and run migrations to Microsoft 365, Azure and AWS, then manage the cloud so costs, access and backups stay under control.
Overview
Cloud Services & Microsoft 365
- Microsoft 365
- SharePoint & OneDrive
- Microsoft Teams
- Exchange Online
- Microsoft Azure
- Amazon Web Services
- Microsoft Entra ID
- Google Workspace
- Cloud backup
- Virtual desktops
For most small and medium businesses, "the cloud" starts with Microsoft 365: email, calendars, Teams and files in SharePoint and OneDrive instead of an office server or an old email host. Done well, a migration means people can work securely from anywhere and the server closet gets a lot quieter. Done poorly, it means lost email, broken shared folders and a year of "where did that file go?".
We plan migrations around your data and your people: an inventory of mailboxes, shared drives and permissions, a file structure that matches how teams work, a security baseline before cutover, and a schedule that keeps business running. Beyond Microsoft 365, we move workloads that still need servers into Azure or AWS, set up identity and single sign-on, and use Canadian data centre regions where data residency matters.
Once you're there, the cloud still needs managing: licences that match reality, access reviews when people leave, cost monitoring so subscriptions don't creep, and backups that sit outside the platform they protect. Planning a move? Start with our Microsoft 365 migration checklist.

Who it's for
Who we work with
Offices with an ageing server
Businesses facing a server replacement that want to know whether the cloud is the better investment.
Old email hosting
Teams on web-host email, IMAP or legacy systems that want reliable email, calendars and security.
Hybrid & remote teams
People working from home, the office and the road who need secure access to the same files and apps.
Mergers & restructures
Companies combining Microsoft 365 tenants or separating systems after a sale.
Data residency needs
Organizations with client, contract or privacy expectations about where data is stored.
Growing businesses
Teams that need to add people, locations and apps without buying hardware for every step.
Process
How it works
- 01
Assess
An inventory of mailboxes, files, apps, licences and permissions, plus what the move needs to achieve.
- 02
Plan
Migration approach, target structure, security baseline, schedule and staff communication.
- 03
Migrate & cut over
Data moved in stages, cut over at a quiet time, with devices and mobile apps reconnected.
- 04
Manage & optimize
Ongoing licence, access, cost and backup management so the cloud stays tidy.
Pricing
How pricing works
Migrations are quoted as projects based on what's moving. Subscriptions from Microsoft, AWS and other providers are listed separately so you can see exactly what the platform itself costs, and ongoing cloud management can be part of a managed IT agreement.
Planning a move? Start with our Microsoft 365 migration checklist.
- Number of users, mailboxes and data volume
- Source system: Google, Exchange, file server or web host
- Clean-up and permission mapping
- Apps and integrations to move

FAQ
Cloud Services questions
How long does a Microsoft 365 migration take?
It depends on the number of mailboxes, the amount of data, the source system and how much tidying is needed first. Planning, clean-up and communication often take longer than moving the data itself. We set a schedule during planning, with cutover at a quiet time.
How much does a cloud migration cost?
Cost depends on what's moving — users, mailboxes and data volume, apps that need to be rebuilt or reconnected, and clean-up of permissions and old files. We quote migrations as defined projects, with platform subscriptions listed separately so ongoing costs are clear before you commit.
Does Microsoft back up our Microsoft 365 data?
Microsoft keeps the service running and provides retention and recovery features, but those aren't the same as an independent backup you control. A dedicated Microsoft 365 backup protects against accidental or malicious deletion, ransomware and long-term retention gaps.
Can our data stay in Canada?
Often, yes. Microsoft, Azure and AWS operate Canadian data centre regions, and Microsoft 365 tenants created for Canadian organizations store core customer data at rest in Canada. We confirm where each service you use stores data before migrating.
Should we replace our server or move to the cloud?
Compare both over several years, not just the upfront price. The cloud usually wins for email, files and common business apps; a server can still make sense for specialized software, very large files or limited internet. We lay out both options with costs.
